These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of Real You Mandarin LLC's Website, located at https://www.realyoumandarin.com.

By accessing this website, we assume you accept these terms and conditions. Do not continue to use Real You Mandarin if you do not agree to take all of the terms and conditions stated on this page.

This Agreement shall begin on the date hereof.

1. Introduction

Welcome to Real You Mandarin LLC ("we," "our," "us"). By accessing or using our website, www.realyoumandarin.com ("Site"), and our services, including online language courses and related materials ("Services"), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree with these Terms, please refrain from using our Site and Services. "Real You Mandarin" and "Real You Mandarin LLC" are used interchangeably throughout these Terms and refer to the same legal entity.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use access or our free content. If you wish to purchase any paid services or offerings, you must be at least 18 years old or have parental/guardian consent. By using our Site, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

3. Cookies

The website uses cookies to help personalize your online experience. By accessing Real You Mandarin, you agreed to use the required cookies.

5. Services and Payments

  • Course Access: Upon purchasing a course or other digital product, you receive a non-transferable, limited license to access the content for personal, non-commercial use.

  • Pricing: All prices are listed on our Site and are subject to change at our discretion. Payment must be made before accessing any paid content.

  • Payment Terms:

    • If an offering is provided as a one-time payment, your designated payment method will be charged at the time of purchase.

    • If an offering is provided as a recurring payment, you authorize Real You Mandarin LLC to charge your designated payment method at the time of purchase and on a recurring basis each month on the same calendar day. For example, if you purchase an offering with a recurring payment on February 17, your payment method will be charged on February 17, again on March 17, and so forth.

    • For offerings with a recurring payment, you may cancel at any time by providing a 30-day written notice to support@realyoumandarin.com before the next billing cycle. Cancellations made after this period will take effect in the following billing cycle.

  • Course Content Variability
    Real You Mandarin LLC ("Company") offers a range of language learning products, including but not limited to individual courses and course bundles. The specific resources, formats, and language variants (e.g., Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese) available within each offering may vary. It is your responsibility to carefully review the product description and associated details prior to purchase.

    For example, “Real You Mandarin: Self-Expression” includes both Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese materials, whereas “Real You Mandarin: Beginnings” includes only Traditional Chinese. The pricing of each offering reflects such differences in available resources. By proceeding with your purchase, you acknowledge and accept the scope and limitations of the selected course. You further agree that you will not receive access to Simplified Chinese materials if you purchase “Real You Mandarin: Beginnings,” and you waive any claim or complaint against the Company for the absence of such content. Publicly disparaging the Company for services not included in your purchased offering constitutes a breach of these Terms and Conditions.

    By checking the “I accept the Terms and Conditions” box at checkout and completing your purchase, you affirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms outlined herein.

  • Pre-Order Terms for "Real You Mandarin: Self-Expression"
    “Real You Mandarin: Self-Expression” is a multi-module course launched in May 2025. As of the initial release, Module 1: Expressing Your Feelings is the only module with all content immediately available upon purchase. The remaining modules will be released sequentially on a rolling basis throughout 2025. Although the Company aims to release new modules approximately once per month, exact release dates shall be determined at the sole discretion of the Company and communicated via public announcements.

    By purchasing this course prior to its full release, you acknowledge and agree that you are making a pre-order purchase. As such, you will gain instant access only to the module(s) that are already live at the time of purchase. You further understand and accept that access to the remaining modules will be granted only as they become available.

    In consideration for purchasing the course in advance of its full release, you are offered a discounted rate compared to the full course price of $199 USD, which shall apply following the final module’s release at or before the end of 2025. You agree that this pricing reflects your early access status and waive any claims related to the timing of future module releases.

  • Course Bundles and Access Instructions
    From time to time, the Company may offer bundled purchases (e.g., “Saver Bundle,” “All-Access Pass”) for a one-time fee. Each bundle includes only the specific courses or modules explicitly listed at the time of purchase. Buyers will receive separate welcome emails containing access instructions for each course included in the bundle.

    If you do not receive expected access instructions, it is your responsibility to contact the Company promptly at support@realyoumandarin.com for assistance.

  • "Real You Mandarin: Self-Expression" Saver Bundle
    If you purchase the “Saver Bundle” for the “Real You Mandarin: Self-Expression” course, you will receive access to two (2) modules of your choosing. You will automatically receive a welcome email containing access information for the module originally purchased (e.g., “Module 1: Expressing Your Feelings”).


    To receive access to your second module of choice, you must forward the welcome email associated with your Saver Bundle purchase to support@realyoumandarin.com, indicating your selection of the second module. Access to your second module will not be granted unless and until the Company receives this email specifying your preferred module. You understand and accept that it is your responsibility to complete this step to activate access to your second module.

  • Pre-Order Terms for "Real You Mandarin: Self-Expression" Saver Bundle
    If you purchase the “Saver Bundle” prior to the full release of all modules in the “Real You Mandarin: Self-Expression” course, you acknowledge and agree that your selection of a second module may constitute a pre-order if that module has not yet been released. In such case, you will receive immediate access only to the module that is currently live at the time of purchase. Access to your second selected module will be granted solely upon its official release by the Company. By completing your purchase, you affirm your understanding of and agreement to these pre-order conditions.

  • No Refunds: Due to the digital nature of our courses and materials, all sales are final, and no refunds will be issued once a purchase has been completed.

6. Intellectual Property

All content available on our Site, including but not limited to courses, videos, text, graphics, and logos, is the exclusive property of Real You Mandarin LLC or its content suppliers and is protected under applicable intellectual property laws. Users may not do any of the following without prior written consent from Real You Mandarin LLC:

  • Copy, modify, or republish material from Real You Mandarin

  • Sell, rent, or sub-license material from Real You Mandarin

  • Reproduce, duplicate, create derivative works, or copy material from Real You Mandarin

  • Redistribute content from Real You Mandarin

7. User Conduct

Users agree to use the Site and Services for lawful purposes only and must not:

  • Engage in any activity that disrupts or harms the Site's functionality.

  • Attempt unauthorized access to our systems or user accounts.

  • Use content from the Site for commercial purposes without prior authorization.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Real You Mandarin LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or Services.
